Why this programme matters

Many young people face limited access to training, employment, technology, mentorship and career guidance. Without meaningful opportunities, talent can remain unused and frustration can grow. Early investment in skills, character and leadership can change the direction of a young person’s life.

What We Do

Skills acquisition and vocational training

We provide or support training in areas such as fashion design and tailoring, hairdressing and beauty therapy, catering and baking, phone repairs, technical crafts and other locally relevant trades.

Digital literacy

We introduce young people to practical digital skills, including basic computer use, online services, document creation, simple design and digital tools that improve employability and access to opportunity.

Entrepreneurship and financial literacy

Participants learn the foundations of setting up a small business, managing costs, pricing products, serving customers, promoting their work and keeping basic financial records.

Leadership and personal development

We develop confidence, self-esteem, communication, teamwork, emotional intelligence, goal-setting, discipline and community responsibility.

Mentorship and Career Guidance

We connect young people with mentors, role models and professionals who can offer encouragement, practical insight and guidance on education, work and personal growth.

Adolescent health and protection

Age-appropriate sessions help adolescents understand wellbeing, puberty, healthy relationships, consent, reproductive health, substance-abuse risks, personal safety and responsible decision-making.

Community service and values formation

We encourage integrity, respect, hard work, faith, responsibility and active participation in community service.

Who We Support

Our Intended Outcomes

Long-term Vision

We aim to establish youth hubs for vocational training, digital skills, leadership, mentorship and enterprise development, while expanding agricultural empowerment and community literacy initiatives that create practical routes into work and self-employment.

Invest in the next generation.

Voices of Impact

Before joining the MOA youth empowerment programme, I had no direction. I learnt tailoring and gained confidence I never had. Today, I sew clothes for people in my community and earn my own money. MOA Foundation changed my life.

The digital skills training opened my eyes. I knew nothing about computers before, but now I can type, design simple flyers and help people with online registrations. I feel useful and hopeful again.
