Why this programme matters
Women are central to the wellbeing of families and communities, yet many face barriers to training, finance, equipment, healthcare information and stable income. When a woman is equipped to work, lead and make informed decisions, the benefits extend to her children, household and wider community.
Our Mission
Our Women & Girls Empowerment programmes are designed to equip women and girls with the knowledge, skills, and support they need to improve their lives and positively influence their communities.
What We Do
Vocational skills training
We provide hands-on training in income-generating skills such as soap making, pastry and small-scale catering, detergent and disinfectant production, tailoring and fashion-related skills. Training is adapted to local demand and available resources.
Start-up tools and business support
Training alone is not enough. Where resources allow, we provide equipment and materials such as sewing machines, refrigerators, soap and detergent starter kits, and other tools needed to begin a small business.
Support for widows and single mothers
We prioritise women carrying significant family responsibilities by offering practical assistance, business start-up support, encouragement, prayer, community fellowship and ongoing accountability.
Financial literacy and enterprise development
We help women understand basic costing, pricing, customer service, record-keeping, savings and responsible business growth.
Mentorship and women-led networks
We aim to develop cooperative groups, mentorship networks and women-led microbusiness hubs where participants can share knowledge, access support and grow together.
Women and girls’ wellbeing
Through our wider outreach, women and girls also receive health education, confidence-building, leadership support and information that strengthens personal and family wellbeing.
Our Intended Outcomes
- More women earning a stable and dignified income.

Voices of Impact
As a single mother, life was very difficult. MOA Foundation trained us in soap and detergent making and gave me start-up materials. I now produce and sell in my neighbourhood. I finally have a steady source of income. This programme gave me a fresh start.
